British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sherard Cowper-Coles has conveyed condolences of Queen Elizabeth II of Britain to victims of the terror attack which took place in Yanbu on Saturday.
"More than 60 countries in the world, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, faced the menace of terrorism last year," said the Ambassador while addressing a press conference here on Sunday.
He branded the terror attack in Yanbu an "horrific crime," and said he had received several messages of condolences for British victims of the attack from a large number of Saudi citizens, princes and senior officials.
"The government and people of the United Kingdom stand beside the Government and People of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia", he said, adding that "the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a secure and stable country, and I personally feel that the Kingdom is a secure place for me personally and for my family".
The Ambassador noted that he had conferred with Mayor of Yanbu, Ibrahim Al-Sultan.
