Riyadh, 2 May, 2004

Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Al Alsheikh has stressed that terrorism is not tied to a certain country, nationality, religion, culture or civilization.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, the minister said, "Any attempt by a deviant group used by the nation's enemy as a tool to harm the homeland of the Two Holy Mosques, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will fail." The minister stated that terrorism has failed everywhere in the world, adding that terrorism is a grave violation of the teachings of Islam.

The minister highlighted Saudi efforts to fight terrorism and said the kingdom will defeat the terrorists.
