01May2004 Prince Sultan undergoes surgery

Riyadh, 1 May, 2004

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General was admitted to King Fahd Hospital of the Armed Forces in Jeddah on Saturday afternoon to undergo a surgical operation following the completion of the required medical check-up, the Royal Court announced in a statement, wishing Prince Sultan a good health.

Upon arrival at the Hospital, Prince Sultan was received by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior; Prince Mamdouh bin Abdulaziz, Head of Strategic Studies Center; Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs; other princes; Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Al-Manie and a number of officials.

Prince Sultan was accompanied by Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Tabuk Region; Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America; Prince Faisal bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Secretary General of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Charitable Foundation; Prince Turki bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Culture and Information and other princes.
