The Saudi Embassy in London issued the following press statement:
A closed envelope containing white powder was sent by post and reached the Embassy, whereupon Embassy officials contacted British security officials who dealt with the matter immediately. All measures were taken to guarantee the protection and safety of the Embassy personnel.
