In accordance with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, the first Saudi relief plane departed Riyadh-based King Khalid International Airport for Morocco to deliver relief assistance to victims of the recent, devastating earthquake.
The plane was loaded with 73,722 kilograms of blankets, tents, and other relief materials. Another plane loaded with electrical generators is scheduled to leave for Morocco on Friday.
