Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz today held a meeting with Egyptian President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak and his accompanying delegation at Al-Yamamah Palace.
On the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard; Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defence and Aviation and Inspector General; Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Minister of Defence and Aviation and Inspector General; Prince Miteb bin Abdul Aziz, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Prince Nawaf bin Abdul Aziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Abdul Aziz bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of State, Cabinet Member and Chief of the Court of Cabinet’s Presidency; other ministers, and senior officials.
On the Egyptian side, the meeting was attended by Minister of Information Safwat Al-Sharif, Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher, and other officials.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed recent developments in Arab, Islamic and international arenas, notably the Palestinian issue and Iraq, and the means of enhancing aspects of cooperation in all fields.
