The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in the ninth meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Electricity Ministers, which is to be held in Beirut on Wednesday.
Participants of the two-day meeting are scheduled to review issues pertaining to the electricity sector in the Arab countries including electric-grid projects and the exchange of expertise and training in the field of electricity.
On the fringes of the meeting, a seminar on the prospects of establishing and developing an Arab market for electric power will take place.
The Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Electricity Ministers holds annual meetings to follow up resolutions of the Council of Arab Electricity Ministers, which holds bi-annual meetings.
