An official source at the Ministry of Defence and Aviation denied a report circulated by some media organisations, quoting the Commander of the Israeli Air Force.
The report claimed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had foiled a suicide-bombing attempt by a Saudi pilot against an Israeli target. According to the report, the pilot, who was said to be acting under the directives of al-Qa’ida organisation, was arrested by authorities.
The official source said that the report is entirely baseless and falsified.
