21Jan2004 Mosques in holy places to receive 125,000 copies of the Holy Quran

Riyadh, 21st Janusry 2004

In accordance with directives of Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, and Sheikh Saleh bin Abdul Aziz Al Al-Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, the Makkah branch of the Islamic Affairs Ministry is to provide mosques in the holy places with 125,000 copies of the Holy Quran, printed at the Madinah-based King Fahd Holy Quran Printing Complex.

Namira Mosque will be provided with 40,000 copies, Al-Kheif Mosque in Mina with 40,000 copies, the Mosque of Muzdalifa with 20,000 copies, the Mosque of the Land Pilgrims in Mina with 11,000 copies, the mosques of the car parking zone with 5,000 copies, and the mosques of Al-Taneem and Jurana with 9,000 copies.
