12Jan2004 Saudi-financed computer centre opened at Baghdad University

Baghdad, 12th January 2004

In an official ceremony, the Computer Rehabilitation Project at the University of Baghdad was opened here today.

The project, which was financed by the Saudi Commission for Relief of the Iraqi People, has cost over SR1 million, it was reported.

The ceremony was attended by the Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr Ziad Abdulrazaq Mohammed Aswad; Rector of the University of Baghdad, Dr Musa Jawad Aziz Al-Musawi, and senior academic officials.
