11Jan2004 Three Saudis imprisoned in Morocco extradited

Riyadh, 11th January 2004

An official source at the Interior Ministry announced that three Saudi nationals who have been serving different jail sentences for breaches of security in Morocco were today extradited to Saudi security authorities.

The three Saudis, Abdullah bin Misfer Al-Ghamdi, Zuhair bin Hilal Al-Thibiti, and Hilal bin Jaber Al-Assiri, will be permitted to receive visits by members of their families.

The Kingdom extradited two Moroccan nationals, Ali bin Idriss Al-Wazli and Mohammed bin Mohammed O'lwan, who had been arrested in Saudi Arabia, to the Moroccan security authorities.

The source concluded that the extradition of these individuals is part of a framework of cooperation existing between security authorities of the two countries.
