10Jan2004 Prince Miqren tours Hajj facilities

Madinah, 10th January 2004

Prince Miqren bin Abdul Aziz, the Governor of Madinah and the Madinah-based Hajj Committee today conducted an inspection tour of the utilities of the Ministry of Hajj and governmental bodies working to provide services to pilgrims, in order to guarantee readiness for this year’s Hajj season.

Upon arrival at the Centre for Pilgrims travelling by land, the Prince was received by Hajj Minister Iyad bin Amin Madani and other officials. The tour included visits to the health centre, Reception and Departure Station, the Reception Centre of Pilgrims by Air, and Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Airport. During the tour, Prince Miqren urged all officials to exert their utmost efforts to provide the best possible services for pilgrims, in order that they be able to perform their rituals with ease and comfort.

Prince Miqren expressed his satisfaction with the achievements of the bodies involved with provision of Hajj services, which completed their preparations in record time.
