Saudi Aramco was recently awarded its fourth patent certificate of 2003, by the U.S. Bureau for Patent Certificates and Trade Marks, for inventing the “thermally-responding Water Silicon Mixture”. The award was presented by Dr Husham Nasraddin and Kevin Taylor of the Research and Development Centre, an affiliate of Saudi Aramco, it was reported today.
The report said that the invention increases the durability of bivalent ion of the Silicon jellylike system, resulting in reducing early gelatinousness of Sodium silicon mixtures when injecting them into the bottom of oil wells, and extending its hypothetical age.
