11Dec2003 Yemeni Health Minister praises Kingdom

Sanaa, 11th December 2003

The Yemeni Minister of General Health, Dr Mohammed Al-Na’mi, highlighted the cooperation in the health sector between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Yemen, and reiterated the keenness of his country to further enhance this cooperation.

In a statement to the Sanaa-based Al-Thawra newspaper on Thursday, Dr Al-Na’mi said that a Saudi delegation of experts specialising in heart diseases and surgery is to visit Yemen imminently. During its seven-day stay in Yemen, the Saudi delegation will conduct twenty heart operations using sophisticated medical equipment.
