The agenda of the forthcoming Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit in Kuwait will include key economic issues such as monetary union, the unified currency, the power grid project, and the joint oil pipeline, according to GCC Secretary General Abdul Rahman Al-Atiyyah.
Speaking to Oman’s Al-Watan newspaper, Abdul Rahman Al-Atiyyah said that the Summit, which is scheduled for 21 December, will also discuss measures to develop school curricula in the six GCC member states. The Gulf states include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
