Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Minister of Defence and Aviation and Inspector General, today conveyed the Eid greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, who is also Commander of the Armed Forces, Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, and Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defence and Aviation and Inspector General, to the personnel of King Khalid Air Base in the Southern Region. He conveyed the greetings of the Saudi leadership as he graced a ceremony organized by the Command of the base at its Cultural Gallery.
In a speech at the venue, he stressed the importance of adhering to Islam and stressed the willingness of every Saudi citizen to defend Islam’s holy sites. He urged unity and solidarity among the people of the Kingdom, saying that there is a campaign against the Kingdom to make it accept man-made laws to pave the way for occupation of Islam’s holy sites. Prince Abdulrahman urged the people of the Kingdom to unite against attempts to sow discord and disunity. He stressed the Kingdom’s determination to adhere to the Islamic faith and guarantee security for citizens and residents. The ceremony was attended by a number of princes.
