25Oct2003 Monday to be the first day of Ramadan

Riyadh, 25th October 2003

The Supreme Judicial Council stated that Monday 27 October would be the first day of the month of Ramadan.

In a statement, the Council said that the crescent moon heralding the beginning of Ramadan had not been seen tonight, and that tomorrow, Sunday, will be the final day, the 30th, of the month of Shaaban.
