Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America, held a press conference organized by Fletcher College for Diplomacy of Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. The conference was attended by a group of U.S. mass media.
Prince Bandar stressed the strength of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America and continual development of these relations in all fields, noting cooperation between the two countries in matters of mutual interest, topped by the international war on terrorism.
Prince Bandar indicated the Kingdom's efforts in combating terrorism, affirming the Kingdom's pride in and full commitment to Islam which renounces terrorism, extremism and violence and calls for cordiality, peace, moderation and respect for other religions.
Prince Bandar replied to questions dealing with a number of regional and international topics notably the peace process in the Middle East and the situation in Iraq.
