23Oct2003 Prospects for Saudi Arabia to Join WTO

Geneva, 23 October, 2003

Saudi Arabia could join the World Trade Organization (WTO) early next year following the completion of an agreement with the United States, WTO chief Supachai Panitchpakdi said yesterday. He said they were looking toward the end of the year with really good prospects for Saudi Arabia to complete the bilateral arrangements.
