22Oct2003 Licenses issued to establish 55 private colleges

Jeddah, 22nd October 2003

The Higher Education Ministry has issued licenses to establish 55 private colleges in various parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to a senior official of the Ministry.

Arab News quoted the official as saying that private colleges will accommodate approximately 50,000 students.
