The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Dr Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Namlah, said that the recommendations of the first conference of the National Commission for the Care of Inmates, Released Prisoners and Their Families will be implemented imminently.
In a press conference at the close the three-day event on Tuesday, Dr Al-Namlah said that the committee is seeking to find stable financial resources, and urged donors to support the committee and its works.
Director General of the Public Department for Prisons, Major General Dr Ali Al-Harthi, noted that his department has various social programs to implement for the support of the committee’s work.
