Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Association for Handicapped Children said that human rights in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are guaranteed by the religion of Islam.
The Prince, who is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Prince Salman Centre for research on handicapped-related issues, made these remarks during the first day of the conference on “Human Rights in Peace and War Time”. He expressed his happiness that the conference is being held in the Kingdom - the cradle of Islam.
During the first day of the conference, a number of sessions were held, at which several people delivered speeches on human rights issues.
