Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, today arrived on an official visit to Malaysia.
During his visit, the Crown Prince Abdullah will head the Kingdom’s delegation to the 10th Summit Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) from 16-18 October 2003.
At Kuala Lampur International Airport, the Malaysian Prime Minister, Dr Mahathir Mohammad, and Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister, Hajji Abdullah Badawi, received the Crown Prince.
At the protocol hall, the two leaders held a meeting, during which they discussed recent developments in Islamic and international arenas, notably the Palestinian issue and the situation in Iraq. They also discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the Saudi delegation accompanying the Crown Prince, and senior Malaysian officials.
