Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, has issued his approval to cover the cost of separating the two Egyptian female twins at his expense at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, an affiliate to the National Guard.
Executive Director General for Health Affairs at the National Guard and head of the medical team Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabe'a said that the approval is symbolic of a commitment to alleviate the sufferings of the Arab and Muslim nations.
"The surgery will be conducted during the next few weeks by a specialized medical team that have carried out such complex operations in the past," Al-Rabe'a noted.
King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh has carried out three successful similar separation operations.
