The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in the International Conference on Organized Crime, which is to be held in Italy from 15-19 September 2003.
The Conference will be organized by the International Institute for Higher Studies in Criminal Sciences and the Centre of Organized Crime, in cooperation with the UN Office for Combating Drugs and Crime, the Councils of Arab Justice and Interior Ministers and the Arab League.
The Kingdom’s delegation to the conference will be led by the Minister of Justice, Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh. Participants will review a number of topics, including the Arab Anti-Crime Agreement. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed the UN Agreement for Combating Organized Crime in December 2002. On behalf of the Kingdom, Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdul Aziz, the Saudi Ambassador to Italy, signed the agreement.
