Over 170 national and international leading companies will display their products at the Sixth International Gulf Exhibition, which is to be held in Dhahran on 13 September, Saudi Gazette reported today.
Adel Al-Oumi, Director General of the Dhahran International Exhibitions Centre, said that the Exhibition is expected to open new markets and increase market shares of Saudi and international companies in local markets. “It will also increase business opportunities between Saudi businessmen and their counterparts from other countries,” he said.
This year more international companies are participating in the seven-day show than ever before, which reflects the strength and resilience of the national economy, Al-Oumi said.
Participating companies include those from Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, China, India, Egypt, Syria, Malaysia, and member states of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Products on display will include household appliances, stationery, electronic goods, kitchenware, furniture, antiques and gifts.
