King Abdul Aziz Public Library will hold a Saudi-Russian Cultural Forum in Moscow and Saint Petersburg city tomorrow.
The staging of the Forum coincides with the historic visit of Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, to Russia.
In a statement to The Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the General Supervisor of the Library, Dr Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muammar, said that the Forum is aimed to shed light on Saudi Arabia’s culture and civilization, and to display efforts of Russian Arabists in serving Arab and Islamic heritage.
The Forum will also enlighten the Russian people on cultural and civilizational development in the Kingdom. It will deal with a number of topics, such as the development of Saudi-Russian cultural relations, the challenges facing the world, and the role of Russian Orientalists in support of Arab and Islamic heritage.
