The Foreign Minister, Prince Saud Al-Faisal, today arrived in Rabat on an official visit to Morocco to lead the Saudi Arabian delegation to the two-day meeting of the 9th session of the Saudi-Moroccan Joint Committee for Economic and Technical Cooperation, which is scheduled to begin in Rabat later today.
He was received at Rabat International Airport by Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mohammed bin Issa, the Saudi Ambassador to Morocco, Dr Abdul Aziz Khoja, and a number of civil and military officials.
Speaking to reporters, Prince Saud said that businessmen from both sides formed the meeting’s agenda for the first time. He described the Committee as among leading joint committees that reflect the will of the two countries’ leaders.
He said that he would discuss with the Moroccan Foreign Minister a number of issues of mutual concern, particularly the Palestinian issue, and bilateral relations between the two countries.
