07Aug2003 Second Saudi relief plane departs for Khartoum

Riyadh, 7th August 2003

In accordance with royal directives, a second aircraft loaded with relief assistance left King Khalid International Airport on Thursday heading for Khartoum. The aircraft was carrying 80 ton of tents, blankets and foodstuffs.

The relief assistance will be extended to victims of the floods that recently hit eastern Sudan.
