A delegation of representatives from the Saudi Interior Ministry will arrive in Sanaa on Thursday, on a three-day visit to Yemen.
A source at the Yemeni Interior Ministry said in a press statement that the Saudi delegation, led by Major General Sultan bin Ayed, Director General of Anti-Drugs Administration, will review with officials at the Yemeni Interior Ministry a number of security issues.
The visit, which is part of current cooperation between Saudi and Yemeni security bodies, will discuss implementation of the Saudi-Yemeni agreement on combating drugs smuggling.
A source at the Yemeni Interior Ministry said that the opening of Al-Wadee’a entry point on the Saudi-Yemeni borders would be officially announced in September.
