A Saudi plane today left for Khartoum carrying 81 tons of tents, carpets, blankets and foodstuffs, as relief aid from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Sudan, which was recently hit by floods.
The consignment included 500 tents, 500 carpets, 1,000 blankets, and 2,000 boxes of foodstuffs.
The aid follows directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz.
