31Jul2003 Kingdom provides medical aid to Djibouti

Djibouti, 31st July 2003

Djibouti’s Ministry of Health today received medicine and medical equipment and supplies provided by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a ceremony held at Djibouti’s airport on this occasion, the Saudi Ambassador to Djibouti, Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed Al-Eifan, handed over the medical aid.

In his speech, the Ambassador praised the firm relations between the two friendly countries, and lauded the support and assistance provided by the Kingdom to the Djibouti people, and the people of Arab, Islamic and other countries.

The Djibouti Minister of State for International Cooperation thanked the Kingdom for its continual support of his country, noting the delivery of an assistance package of 400 tons of dates by the Kingdom to Djibouti last Saturday.
