A Consultative meeting of member states of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) was held here yesterday to prepare for the 5th ministerial meeting of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
At the outset of the session, Dr Ahmad Mohammad Ali, President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) welcomed the participants of the meeting, and said that the meeting provides OIC member states with an opportunity to exchange views on the ministerial meeting of WTO.
Ambassador Tawfeeq Ali, the Bangladeshi Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, expressed his gratitude to the IDB for holding this meeting.
