Saudi Aramco recently signed a contract for a new desalination station at Rabigh refinery, in cooperation with the City Technical Services Company and Zahid Company for Industry and Investment.
The contract comes within the framework Saudi Aramco’s policy to encourage the private sector and foreign investors to contribute to the implementation of infrastructure projects and the process of industrialization and development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The new desalination station is expected to be on stream by the year 2005.
