Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz received Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah Prize, which was awarded to him by Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah Charity Council in recognition of his great achievements in local, regional and international arenas.
The King received the prize during a reception he held at his office at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah today for Prince Miqrin bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Region and Chairman of the Prize’s Council of Trustees.
Two books were presented to the King with the Prize: one entitled “The Prize’s King,” which highlights the King’s achievements in different social, cultural, construction, health, agricultural, economic and industrial fields, and the other entitled “Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques,” which is biographical.
In remarks on the occasion, Prince Miqrin said that the prize was awarded to King Fahd in recognition of his efforts to promote the development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab region, and the Muslim world.
