16Jun2003 Prince Abdulmajeed visits security officials, citizens in Noor Hospital

Makkah, 16th June 2003

The Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdul Aziz, visited a number of security officials and citizens who were admitted to Noor Specialist Hospital in Makkah as a result of their injuries in the raid against a group of terrorists in an apartment in Al-Khalidiyah neighbourhood in Makkah.

Prince Abdulmajeed visited Colonel Mosaid bin Khater Al-Zahrani, Staff Sergeant Osamah bin Hamzah Morad, Sergeant Ahmad bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, and Private First Class Sharaf bin Sultan Al-A’bdali, Zohair bin Abdullah Al-Maliki and Abdullah bin Mohammad Abdullah Al-Bar.

Prince Abdulmajeed wished them all a speedy recovery and lauded the heroic role of security officials during this incident, and their courage in arresting this group which represents an insult Islam and Muslims. He said that the group of terrorists would be punished in this life and in the Hereafter.

“The Kingdom has a record of stability, and will continue to work hard, with the help of God and unity between leadership and citizens, to ensure security and stability for citizens, residents and visitors,” Prince Abdulmajeed said.
