The Middle East’s largest seed-oil factory, with an annual capacity of over 700,000 tons of soybean oil, will soon be established in Yanbu.

Speaking to Arab News, Faqih said that the new factory would also produce oil from other seeds, such as sesame and sunflower seeds. Work on the project will commence within four months, and will take about two years to complete. The factory will be established on a 900,000 square-metre area at King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu.
