Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, today held a meeting with the President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf.
During the meeting, they discussed recent developments in international and Islamic arenas, particularly the Palestinian issue, and the necessity of uniting international efforts to press Israel to end its occupation and establish an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
They discussed the situation in Iraq, the importance of restoring security and order in Iraqi cities, and restoring administration to Iraqis until the formation of a constitutional government. And they reviewed cooperation between the two countries, and means of enhancing it in all fields.
On the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defence and Aviation and Inspector General; Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Minister of Defence and Aviation and Inspector General; Prince Miteb bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Prince Nawaf bin Abdul Aziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Foreign Minister; Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz, Vice Governor of Riyadh Region, and other officials.
On the Pakistani side, the meeting was attended by the delegation accompanying the President.
