04Jun2003 Princess Jawhara donates $6 million for alternative medicine centre

Manama, 4th June 2003

Princess Al-Jawhara Bin Ibrahim, the wife of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul-Aziz, has donated $6 million for the construction of an academic centre for alternative medicines, and genetic and hereditary diseases at the Arab Gulf University in Bahrain.

The donation was handed over by Dr Khaled Bin Mohammad Al-Anqari, Saudi Minister of Higher Education, the Saudi Gazette reported today.
