Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, today held a meeting with U.S. President George W. Bush.
During the meeting, they discussed the Palestinian issue and the need for implementation of the ‘road map’ to establish an independent Palestinian state and a just, lasting peace for all countries of the region, in accordance with the Arab initiative submitted by Crown Prince Abdullah, and unanimously adopted, at the Beirut Summit.
They discussed the situation in Iraq and the importance of Iraq’s stability, territorial integrity and independence under a government representing the will and requirements of the Iraqi people.
They reviewed other international developments and the means of boosting cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
Senior officials representing the two sides attended the meeting.
