02Jun2003 Prince Naif orders delivery of relief aid to the Iraqi people

Riyadh, 2nd June 2003

Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, the Interior Minister and General Supervisor of the Saudi Committee for the Relief of the Iraqi people, has given his directives to the Committee to send the 3rd delivery of aid to the Iraqi people.

The Advisor of the Interior Minister and Head of the Committee, Dr Saed Al-Urabi Al-Harthi, said that the 3rd delivery consists of 64 trucks loaded with large quantities of medicines and other aid materials worth over SR34 million.

He added that the aid also contains foodstuffs, water, two ambulances, and other necessary materials to alleviate the suffering of the Iraqi people.
