27May2003 Saudi aid for Algerian earthquake victims

Riyadh, 27th May 2003

In accordance with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz to assist victims of the earthquake in Algeria, a second Saudi plane today departed to deliver supplies to alleviate the suffering of the Algerian people.

The plane was loaded with 7100 blankets, 1200 tents, 1200 rugs, and medical supplies weighing approximately 6400kg.
