Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Secretary General of Tourism Higher Authority, has announced that the authority will be renamed during the next stage, following the addition of the antiquities and national heritage sector of the Ministry of Education to the authority.
Addressing an inaugural ceremony of the workshop entitled'' the Importance of Partnership in the Development of Tourism in the Kingdom'' here, he said that the workshop approved the formation of a coordinating council for the affairs of tourism regulations and vocational societies.
He noted that during the most recent stage the Authority had improved investment and finances in the field of tourism and studied the infrastructure and the target market to provide an integrated process to serve tourism in the Kingdom.
