The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed the importance of mobilizing efforts in the international community to create a secure and stable world by banning chemical weapons.
This was announced in the speech delivered by Ambassador Waleed Al-Khoraiji, permanent representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Chemical Weapons Banning Organization, at the first review conference regarding the agreement banning chemical weapons, which is currently being held in The Hague, Holland.
The Kingdom reiterated its support for progress towards disarmament under strict international supervision, including the banning and elimination of all kinds of weapons of mass destruction.
