During the philanthropic campaign ordered by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz to raise funds for the Iraqi people, which was organized by the Ministry of Information and transmitted live by the Kingdom’s television from 5pm today, Saudi leaders contributed generously in support of the endeavour.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz donated SR10 million to help alleviate the sufferings of the Iraqi people.
Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, donated SR5 million.
Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defence and Aviation and Inspector General, donated SR3 million.
Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of The Interior, and General Supervisor of the Saudi Committee for Relief of the Iraqi People, donated SR2 million to help the Iraqi people.
Prince Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Minister of Interior, donated SR1 million in support of the campaign..
