24Apr2003 Bank account opened for donations to relieve Iraqi people

Riyadh, 24 April, 2004

The Saudi committee for the relief of the Iraqi people has opened bank account No. 111 in all branches of Al-Ahli (the National) Bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to receive the donations.

The television campaign to collect donations for the Iraqi people will start on Sunday afternoon as a contribution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to relieve the Iraqi people of their suffering, to meet their essential needs and to stand with them in the current difficult circumstances.

The committee which is supervised by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior and the General Supervisor of the committee, is continuing its meetings to organise the campaign, to coordinate efforts for collecting donations and to deliver it directly to the Iraqi people.
