21Apr2003 Saudi assistance leaves for Iraq

Arar, Saudi Arabia, 21st April 2003

Saudi assistance to the Iraqi people, including a 100-bed field hospital, left here today heading for Baghdad.

Twenty beds of the 100-bed field hospital are assigned for intensive care.

More than 35 physicians and 150 medical staff will work at the hospital.

The assistance was ordered by the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard.
