21Apr2003 Saudi relief assistance arrives in Iraq

Kuwait 21 April, 2003

The first tranche of the Saudi relief assistance arrived on Sunday in Iraq. This consignment has been sent to Iraq under directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, to provide the necessary assistance to the Iraqi people.

The relief assistance, which included medical needs, foodstuffs, bottled water, was delivered to the Iraqi Red Crescent Society in Basra city.
