A Saudi delegation comprising academicians, Shoura members and university professors will travel to the United States to correct the Kingdom's image there and improve relations between the two countries. The delegation, due to leave the Kingdom next week, will deliver lectures and [participate in] symposia at major American universities, reported Al-Riyadh Arabic newspaper, sister publication of Riyadh Daily. During its two-week visit, the delegation will also present a number of research papers and meet a number of US officials in a bid to open new avenues for dialogue with the American side. The 16-member delegation will be headed by the under-secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Educational Affairs Dr. Khaled Al-Sultan, the paper added.
