15Apr2003 Saudi companies win contracts worth 108 million euros in Iraq

Riyadh, 15th April 2003

Saudi companies have won contracts worth 108 million euros in Iraq, within the framework of the UN oil-for-food and medicine program, according to Ibrahim Al-Fouda, Executive Director of Saudi Exports Development Centre.

Speaking to ‘Asharq Al-Awsat’ newspaper, he said that Riyadh will begin to export more products to Iraq, and will be particularly involved in the areas of road construction, contracting, cable production, electricity projects, irrigation and agriculture.
